Dallas Raines

Dallas is a professional member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS). The personable earth scientist has earned the Seal of Approval for TV Broadcasting as well as numerous awards for outstanding coverage of weather events. A native of Georgia, Raines graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Meteorology. Dallas has completed 25 hours of graduate work in Climatology and has taught Meteorology courses as CSUN.When Raines is not engaged with his duties at KABC or his educational responsibilities, Dallas and his family are busy helping their community. Raines volunteers his time to help children in any way he can. From fund-raising, to community appearances and speeches, to teaching and coaching, Raines feels it is his privilege to promote the welfare of the children. Show less «
