Kicking around the backlot of Universal Studios as a kid eventually led Sax to a career in the entertainment industry as a production assistant for television commercials and feature films. Over time, Ken worked with Academy Award winning cinematographers including: Allen Daviau, David Walkin, Vilmos Zsigmond and Conrad Hall. During this time, Sax developed his remarkably keen eye and passion for cinema. Prior to becoming one of the principal photographer's at CBS Television, Sax set his sights on independent filmmaking and has garnered veneration as a freelance camera operator. His rich history in commercial, film, television and cinematography has helped to evolve Sax into one of Hollywood's top celebrity photographers.In addition to his credits, Sax has captured most of Hollywood greats such as Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Hugh Jackman, Christopher Nolan, Barbara Streisand, Pierce Brosan, Oliver Stone, Samuel L. Jackson and, Billy Bob Thorton to name a few. Ken has also produced and photographed advertising campaigns for Saatchi & Saatchi, Dentsu, Young and Rubincam along with major studios i.e., Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Bros., Paramount, Sony, HBO, E! Entertainment, Lifetime and A&E. Thus, Ken's involvement in a wide variety of multimedia has naturally empowered his talents as a writer/director/producer.In 2006, Sax became the founder of Fortune Cookie Productions in which he co-produced television shows for Freemantle Media, (American Idol, America's Got talent) T Group Entertainment, Lawrence Bender, (Inglorious Basters, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction,) and Giant Pirates.. More recently, Ken produced and co-wrote the psychological thriller "Cassidy Way."
