Liam James Albert Collins was born November 18th 1989 at Kings College Hospital London, to parents John and Denise. Born into a working class family and the youngest of three children, he was the first to pursue a career in the arts. His first break came in 2011 when he was offered to the opportunity to stand in and double for Tom Hardy as Bane in 'The Dark Knight Rises' (2012). This is where Liam met director Patrick Viktor Monroe and has since collaborated with him on 'Little Favour' (2013) starring Benedict Cumberbatch and other projects. Soon after Liam was contacted by the BBC and asked to play Bob Sales, the lead role in 'D-Day: The Last Heroes'. (2013) and Tommy in 'The Crimson Field' (2014).Having studied for 2 years at the Colchester Institute of Performing Arts he continued onto the London College of Music where he graduated with a double first in Acting for Stage and Screen. All whilst spending his summers in New York City, teaching free acting workshops to underprivileged teenagers from low income families.In earlier years he attended The Great Baddow Primary and Secondary school where he excelled academically and physically. Achieving 3rd place at the European Kickboxing championships at the age of 12 and later moving onto most national level sports. Post secondary school, at the age of 16, he studied Neuro Linguistic Programming in order to understand human behavior on a far deeper level. Being mentored by his Mother Denise, who at this point achieved NLP Master Practitioner status. At 18 Liam traveled alone through Malaysia and Bali, Indonesia in search of the perfect waves, reefs and to study cultures vastly different to his own. Upon return, being physically and emotionally stronger he pursued a childhood dream of Professional Wrestling. Eventually forming a professional wrestling company, The British Wrestling Evolution, in 2009. The BWE ran successfully for a couple of years before Liam decided to leave in order to fully commit himself to Drama School and his acting career. Show less «
